Snowboarding
I am now apparently at a skill level of Snowboarding where I am allowed to go on the slopes without an instructor. I am momentum, all those before me will be ploughed. | | Tuesday, June 17th, 2008 | | 12:01 am |

Possible pick up?
Just wondering if anyone is likely to be near the Showcase area in Dunkirk during 9-5 this week (the sooner the better)? I need a radiator fan for a 2001 Vauxhall Vectra (1.8, with aircon) picking up, but I'm stuck in London until Friday, and I fear it may go before then. It's at http://www.avsvauxhallbreakers.co.uk/contactus.aspx and costs £25 If anyone can help out, it'd be appreciated. | | Tuesday, April 29th, 2008 | | 3:20 pm |

Moving on
I'm moving out, so the house at Cliff Road will be available from the 17th of May. Cheap rent for the city centre if anyone's interested in it. 3 bedroom (well, 2 1/2 bedroom). If it's going back on the rental market, cpwalker.co.uk will be dealing with it, so contact them. | | Wednesday, January 30th, 2008 | | 10:36 am |
Holy Cow!
So I get into the office today and head towards my desk ... Needless to say, I haven't moved them. | | Saturday, December 22nd, 2007 | | 10:22 am |
Appreciations
Daniel - thanks for helping out with making a brilliant present, I've just finished putting it together and it looks great. You're a star and beer will be your way in the New Year. Cheers dude. | | Monday, December 17th, 2007 | | 3:41 pm |
One night after lost
I came across *cough* this little beauty whilst walking back to the tube after the Paradise Lost gig in London last week: Since Nick's such a LJ whore, I figured this'll give him yet another chance to do some of that "oh, look at me, look at me" attention seeking that he's so come to love. ;) | | Tuesday, September 18th, 2007 | | 11:57 am |
CD-WOW
Although I don't post on here often, cdwow have driven me to warn others away, just because of how immensely shit they are. Don't use them, they're crap. End of story. If you're in a rush to get something, or even want the item at all, go somewhere good, quick, reliable - you know, like Play or Amazon. Hell, it might even be quicker to drive across England to obtain the item. I've had 2 vouchers from cd-wow for the past few months. I've ordered CDs/DVDs, had the orders delayed, delayed, cancelled, refunded vouchers, ordered new things, delayed, cancelled, refunded. I've just ordered 300 out of desperation of using another refunded voucher, but not having anything listed (out of their limited crap stock, which probably isn't even in stock) worth buying. So I've figured I might as well order something unworthy of buying with the voucher. It's not like I'm expecting to receive the film anyway. I'm also almost up to another month of waiting for the goods from the order of my last voucher. No doubt they'll cancel and refund that soon and I'll have another pointless £20 voucher that I still have nothing to buy from their pointless site. Roll on once they're used so I never have to order anything from their crap site again. PS: It also takes about 5 days or more for their customer services staff to reply to any of my "queries". I'm not making this up. | | Monday, July 30th, 2007 | | 11:30 am |
Bank Holiday Weekend
The bank holiday weekend's coming up. I currently have zero plans, although I have a couple of ideas, but ideas without people are lame indeed. Soooooo, who's about, who's up for something, and who has the money to go with it? PS: ideas of what to actually do are also welcome. | | Wednesday, July 18th, 2007 | | 1:52 pm |
I ain't gettin' on no airplane
Bah, just checked the return times for the Skylink from East Midlands Airport for Monday 23rd of July (when I return from Slovakia). I get in at 22:55, the bus leaves at 23:05 ... then they don't come for another hour. The likelyhood of landing at 22:55, getting off the plane, going through security, then picking up the luggage within 10 minutes is ZERO, meaning I'll get back to the house at about 00:50 (or 02:50 Slovakian time). I have to get leave off for London the next morning at 6am. If anyone with a car is kind enough to come pick me up from East Midlands Airport at about 23:15 on Monday evening it would be greatly appreciated. If you do, please text me (and let people on here in case I get a multitude of offers) | | Wednesday, July 11th, 2007 | | 8:58 am |

You'll need to find your own transport for them, as they won't fit in my car. You'll also need to be quick if you want them, as they'll probably find their way to the tip (in pieces) quite soon. | | Thursday, May 10th, 2007 | | 10:52 pm |
one thread at a time
I saw this and it made me chuckle, thinking of the relevance this has to a number of people I know. Heh. Current Music: The merry typing of two keyboards | | Wednesday, March 7th, 2007 | | 8:20 am |
I sold my soul, and I sold yours too
OK, so I've finally given up my trial period at work, and am going permanent. Sorry Mike. Last night, Curtis, Andy and I followed Bob along to the Peacock Theatre to see Jump, which was advertised as something like "Jackie Chan meets the Waltons". Needless to say, I've had the Waltons theme tune in my head for the past few days. It was a highly amusing oriental martial arts based comedy show, to which I laughed along to a number of times. Cheers to Bob for organising a cool evening out. This mornings walk to work was interesting as we walked the 60 seconds down the road from the hotel, past the local pub, The Great Western. We'd heard rumour that there was a stabbing in the pub on Sunday evening ... obviously the flowers in the latter photo confirms that this was fatal. I love Hayes, it's such a friendly place to be :) Current Mood: amusedCurrent Music: The Waltons theme tune | | Monday, March 5th, 2007 | | 10:05 pm |

Everywhere you go
It snowed! A lot. Down south. Wait, I'm down south! Ace! Sounds like the poor people back in Nottingham haven't quite got what we have. It's about 2 inches thick here. My car was completely covered, I was amazed at how thick it was as I haven't seen snow like this in years (a downside of Nottingham is it never really get's much snow when everywhere else does). So, having got up early to take/join Curtis in the gym, I made a Snow Angel, had a snowball fight, then we set off for Stockley Park. I went for a walk while Curtis went for his induction. Ambling along, I took some photos, then decided it was a good morning (7am) for making a snowman ... then a Happy Snow Bench. I also thought sebby6 would appreciate a snow effect photo of Hasbro, for all her pony needs. So here's the Snow Photos I took this morning. Only downside is that I have the 130 mile drive back to Nottingham this afternoon/evening, and the reports are the M1 isn't doing so good at the moment. Would've thought that'd be resolved by then though. Maybe | | Tuesday, January 23rd, 2007 | | 11:57 pm |
Wake up it's a beautiful morning
It's snowing! It's settled quite nicely. No doubt it won't last the morning, but ... maybe it will. I wish I wasn't at work tomorrow so I could go out and take photos somewhere. At least I got to throw some snowballs. Same again next year? | | Friday, January 12th, 2007 | | 10:28 am |
